My 2024 Journals.
These are my journal entries for the year 2024. I was able to manage two long-haul travel adventures, one on a cruise around Hawaii and Alaska and the second on an escorted coach trip around Japan. I was also lucky enough to go to Marrakech in Morocco for a short break. I crossed a few things off my bucket list, such as visiting Japan, visiting Hawaii, and going whale watching.
I saw singer Tom Jones live in Murcia. I spent time with good friends, and I ate out many times. I went to England to see my sister get married and spent time with a few old friends in England while there. I did all of this while managing to continue to research my family tree.
There were some sad times when friends or relatives passed away, but I guess as I get older, this will happen more often. I was ill a few times but recovered by resting and doing as the doctor told me. I have finally realised that I can no longer keep pushing myself to do as much as I used to or want to without having to rest for more prolonged periods afterwards. With age comes wisdom, but also with age comes a lousy memory, which makes me forget what wisdom has taught me, and my body keeps reminding me.
In week 52 of 2024, I spent most of the week indoors, avoiding Christmas and the cold and flu bug going around. I watched lots of films and spoke with a few old friends via Farcebook and other messenger systems.

In week 51 of 2024, I spent most of the week indoors keeping warm. I did manage to sort out my Spanish Health card at last, and I visited Murcia to visit the vaccination centre and enquire about vaccinations for my trip to India next year.

In week 50 of 2024, the temperatures dropped a lot, and I decided to stay at home from Wednesday onwards. I do not want to catch a cold like I have done every Christmas I can remember for a long time. I worked on my computer a lot and did some cooking.

In week 49 of 2024, I met a few different friends, some of whom I hadn't seen for a while. The weather started to drop quickly in the evenings, and my heating began to be put on more regularly.

Week 48 was tranquil in part due to being unwell halfway through. I did lots of work on my website, had lunch with one friend, and arranged to have lunch with another friend next week. I also got tickets to see Simple Minds next year.

Week 47 of 2024 started bright but colder. I did a lot of work on my website and made lots of complaints to my bank in the UK. I did do an unexpected mystery tour of Los Alcazares at the start of the week, thanks to the local bus service.

In Week 46 of 2024, I did some jobs around the home, met some old friends and went for dinner with another.

In Week 45 of 2024, I spent a lot of time at home. I met friends for a drink on three successive days at the start of the week and then didn't leave the house apart from shopping.
